One Down

My plan was to go skiing twice this winter. I haven't really skied since my early twenties, and if you don't know how many years ago that was then I'm not going to be the one to tell you.But yesterday my Mom (who is visiting from Montana) and I went to Mt. Baker ski area and spent the day swooshing down the slopes. For early season the conditions were phenomenal, with loose and loose packed powder everywhere, and more falling throughout the day.
And although my technique wasn't perfect, I didn't do any face plants. We stayed mostly to the easy and medium runs which were the best covered, and had a blast. It's good to see that I didn't lose much of the skill I'd gained over 20+ years on the slopes.
