New Beginnings

New relationships are really fun. All the better yet when the individual in question is into it just as much as you are.

I have this latent Galahad thing going on. For those that don't know ~that~ side of me, I'm a hopeless romantic. I love taking care of my significant other, and it's an important part of what I need to derive satisfaction from a relationship. So it's been an absolute delight to learn that beneath the sometimes-tough facade, there exists within her a decidedly soft side, which seems bent on promoting femininity. A sort of latent Guinevere thing, if you will (okay, maybe not Guinevere, because she's married to Arthur, and Lancelot was the adulterer, not Galahad, I think... but you know what I mean).

And she seems to truly enjoy being cuddled, cared for, and looked after. She seems to like feeling safe and protected - the other night we were sitting on her couch, and she leaned over to put her head on my chest... and when she did, I could feel her whole body shift to a different level of relaxation. And honestly, I'm only too happy to help. I really like this one a lot.
