New Experiences

I think I've got something to keep me blogging a bit more. You should all be utterly indifferent to this fact by now, I imagine.

There a series of new experiences coming to my life, which should make for some good blog fodder...

...I'm getting married.

Yes, you read that right, the 40-year-old-marriage-virgin is getting hitched. I asked Jeanette to marry me last night (in a rather unique and embarrassing way, I might add), and she said yes. Tentatively we're looking at the middle of next May; just under 10 months. This satisfies my desire for a short-ish engagement, while also satisfying her desire to plan the living bejeezus out of things.

And I've got a new nickname for myself now too... World? Meet Groomzilla.
