27 February 2009 - 21:51.

Off to Vegas next weekend. Just a buddy and I. Can you say "stress break" boys and girls?

I knew you could....

Geeky Delight

20 February 2009 - 08:14.

We've all done it. After all, it's just a dream.

We've all dreamed of doing something nasty to our computers. Maybe it wouldn't start, or maybe it crashed before we had a chance to save our data. Either way, we've all wanted to go off on a computer in a very Office Space way.

Not surprisingly, someone has taken that idea to the extreme. I'm actually surprised it took this long for someone to make popular (via slashdot) the Gallery Of Exploding Servers.

I've always wanted to do this. I remember one environment I worked in, we had what we referred to as "The Curse Of Olympus". No matter what the server was, if it was named Olympus, it was doomed to a life of mystery and loathing. How much simpler life would have been if we'd been able to put poor Olympus out of its misery.

Crash Bang Boom

11 February 2009 - 23:02.

I'm actually surprised that things like this haven't happened before. What I want to know though is... how does ICBC determine who's at fault?

Need A Suggestion

04 February 2009 - 07:25.

It's been so long since I've been out for a good dinner, that I honestly have no idea any more exactly what's what. So I turn to you, dear reader, for suggestions and advice.

Location doesn't matter, and neither does the style of food. The key criteria for me this time is the quality of the service. Too many restaurants in BC have mediocre service, and it drives me batty. Growing up in Montreal and during my travels to Europe, I've learned what restaurant service is supposed to be like, and there are abysmally few places here that offer it.

So leave a comment and tell me... if you feel like going out for dinner and experiencing great (not good) service, where would you go?
